Smartphones that are launching this week: From Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 to Realme U1 and more

In the coming weeks, we have a list of smartphones that will be launching in India. From Realme U1 to Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Oppo R17 Pro among others, these are phones that will launch soon

Oppo R17 Pro
Oppo R17 Pro is confirmed to launch in India on December 4 in Mumbai. Oppo R17 Pro comes in Radiant Mist and Emerald Green colours and is available in two configurations- with 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a price of CNY 4,299 (approximately. Rs. 43,770). Oppo R17 Pro pre-orders begin on December 1 in the country. Oppo R17 Pro has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display with 16-million colours. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC with Adreno 616 GPU. It includes 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the camera front, there is a dual rear setup- 12-megapixel + 20-megapixel lenses with f/1.5 and f/2.4 respectively. The front-facing camera is a 25-megapixel lens with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 1850mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.

Oppo A7 
Oppo A7 is also said to launch soon as the company has started teasing the device. The smartphone is expected to be priced at Rs. 16,990 and will likely be available in two variants- with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 32GB storage. The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU. It includes 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage. On the camera front, there is a dual rear setup- 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel cameras and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It is backed by a 4230mAh battery and runs on Color OS 5.2.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is the successor to the M1 and is said to launch sometime in December. From the leaks shared online, Zenfone Max Pro M2 is seen to have a display notch, dual rear cameras along with a gradient colour rear panel. From Asus's teasers posted online, the display notch is confirmed while the rear is shown to have three cut-outs. While it was earlier speculated that the smartphone could sport a triple camera setup, it is expected to come with dual cameras and the third cut-out being the LED flash. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 may sport a 6.26-inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio; powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and come with 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage. With respect to the cameras, it could come with a dual rear setup- 12-megapixel + 5megapixel with f/1.8 aperture. The selfie camera is said to be a 13-megapixel shooter. The smartphone could be backed by 5000mAh battery.

Realme U1

The Realme U1 launches in India on November 28 and the company has teased the performance benchmarks and camera samples of their upcoming device. While the price of the smartphone is not yet revealed, it is expected to be in the vicinity of the previously-launched models. Realme U1 is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Helio P70 Mobile Platform. The smartphone will be one among the first devices to ship with the Helio P70 SoC and according to the AnTuTu Benchmark, Realme U1 scored 145021, higher than the Snapdragon 636 (115611) and Kirin 970 (139974). Realme has also teased the camera capabilities on the Realme U1 on Twitter. From the teasers, we expect it to have a capable selfie camera with 296 facial recognition points along with AI Beautification. The front camera/s  may also support wide-angle feature for taking group selfies.

Elon Musk’s SpaceX to put 12,000 satellites in orbit

Elon Musk’s company has six years to put half in orbit, and nine years to complete the satellite network. Washington:  SpaceX got the green light this week from US authorities to put a constellation of nearly 12,000 satellites into orbit in order to boost cheap, wireless internet access by the 2020s. The SpaceX network would vastly multiply the number of satellites around Earth. Since the world’s first artificial satellite, Sputnik, was launched in 1957, humanity has sent just over 8,000 objects into space, according to the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs. Between one quarter and one half of those are believed to still be operational. On Thursday the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced it had authorized SpaceX to launch 7,518 satellites, adding to 4,425 satellites it has already approved. Avengers 4 Trailer Will Now Drop On Wednesday Morning

At long last, we can finally put all the  speculation, rumors and false reports to rest , as we now have the date for when Marvel will reveal the very first trailer for  Avengers 4 , and presumably break the internet in the process. Slowly but surely, the window has been narrowed down and just yesterday, we  were told that this week would be it , though it seems that plans have somewhat changed. You see, the  Infinity War   sequel was set to debut its first footage tomorrow night during  Monday Night Football , with  Captain Marvel   getting a  Good Morning America  trailer premiere on Wednesday. Now, for some reason that’s currently unknown, the studio’s swapped the two releases. Which means that Brie Larson’s heroine will actually be taking the spotlight tomorrow night while  Avengers 4  looks to send fans into a frenzy a few days later, on Wednesday. No word yet on when exactly during  Good Morning America...
